Walk to Ski Mountain: great for families with young kids

Where do I start?? This house was absolutely Amazing I can say more beautiful in person, Had everything you would need for your stay. DEFINITELY a dream house for big families or big groups. Avigail was a great host, very responsive and helpful from the beginning to the end… Thank you so much for your patience and understanding specially on my last minute booking for Thursday. Avigail you are amazing THANK YOU!

We found the home to be neat and clean. The home is spacious and was perfect for our group of 10 adults! The host provided a helpful guide to the house and things to do in the area. The host communicated throughout our stay.

Our stay was very peaceful. It is definitely a place we would want to revisit. Home was very comfy and cozy. Avigail is a great host answered any questions is a sufficient time manner. Only thing I would have changed about our visit is that we should have stayed longer

The place was the best Airbnb I ever stayed in. The host was responsive from the very start. Everything worked properly. It worked perfectly for us 7, 60+ guys with 9 beds all on the floor. A lucky find, as bunk beds are tough for us older people to climb. Plenty of drawers for clothes. The laundry was stocked with detergent and the kitchen stocked with paper towels and dishwashing soap for the modern spacious dishwasher. Plenty of dishes, glasses, coffee cups and well stocked with utensils. Overall a great place to stay and I recommend for multiple couples and families looking for reasonable cost for such a large place.

Avigail was a great host her instructions and manual of activities was good the house is exactly as shown in the pics the lake was great good for big families

Very good communication and wonderful host

It was great! The space was spacious and clean and didn't feel cramped at all for 13 of us. We also loved spending the day at the lake!

We came here to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday with our 3 teenage daughters and had a great time. The house was perfect, tons of space and in a great location. We were able to drive about 2 minutes down to the lake club where we rented a pontoon boat one day and sat by the lake the next. We made dinner at the house one night which had all of the cooking supplies we needed. We drove to Lake Naomi (about a 20 minutes down drive) another night to go out to dinner. And the last night we got pizza from Nicks Boathouse which was delicious. The nearby Hub store was adorable, a cute little gift shop with some groceries, and a cute ice cream shop and another gift shop were nearby (I forget the name). Was super easy to do laundry at the house, and all towels and supplies were included. Most of all Avigail was super helpful and responsible both leading up to our stay and while we were there. I’d highly recommend this home to anyone!

We had an amazing stay! The house was incredibly cozy, clean, and comfortable — it truly felt like home. The location is perfect, surrounded by beautiful nature, with easy access to the pool, the lake beach, and all the amenities. But most of all, we want to thank Avigail for being such an outstanding host. She was extremely responsive — replying to every message within minutes, even late at night. She is kind, respectful, and truly went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. We really appreciate her patience and understanding. Highly recommended! We had a fantastic weekend and would love to return. Thank you so much, Avigail!

Avi is an amazing host, and we are so grateful that she opened up her home to us! There was plenty of room, so much to do in and outside of the house, and everything looked exactly like the pictures! It did get a little chilly at night (we didn’t mind, but there were plenty of extra blankets and the fire places if we needed them!) which is something you may want to keep in mind. The first floor is also very interconnected - you can see into the master bedroom through the fire place, which fortunately was not a problem for us. We did not use the jacuzzi, but the master bathroom was beautiful! Avi was also super responsive throughout, and we would gladly stay again in the future!

the house was very nice and very cozy it was perfectly clean, spacious, airy and avigail was very helpful and provided clear instuctions and when we asked her the first night if there was chalk for the pool table she ordered us chalk and it was there the next morn when we woke up would definitaly recommend other people there be it familys or a group of friends as in my case.

I don’t know where to start I usually don’t give reviews but this place was awesome the host was amazing my only complaint is that I didn’t stay longer!! Will definitely be back!

I recently stayed at Avigail's, we were a group of 12 adults, mix of family and friends, and we had a great time. The place was exactly as shown in the pictures, and it was the perfect size for our group. Having a bathroom on every floor was really convenient. However, there were a few things that needed attention, like a towel rack falling apart and some outdated items in the upstairs bathroom. We also ran out of toilet paper with no spare provided, the only response from the host was a simple apology. I feel there should always be at least two spare rolls in each bathroom, along with paper towels. Additionally, we had an issue with early check-in, as there was a $25 fee, and when we arrived, we didn’t have the entry code. We waited 40min for it, but Avigail kindly refunded the fee. I feel like a fee could be fair if it's a few hours before the standard check-in time not 1hr. There was a temperature issue, some parts of the house were cold. But, the house was clean. Had a good time!

Neat and spacious house with everything we needed. Great for a weekend retreat!

This house has great space! We loved the openness of the living room to the kitchen AND also enjoyed the more quiet spaces like the back den/sunroom/reading room and the playroom downstairs. So many sleeping options with the five bedrooms. All of the living room furniture was also comfy and invited relaxation. Very versatile and great for all ages with the pool table and toys. The place is very kid friendly with baby/toddler toys, games, kitchenware, gates, etc. The kitchen was so well stocked with all of the tools needed to make some great meals for 10 people. The best part of this experience was Avi's communication. She was so responsive and friendly! All of the information we received on the house was thorough and super clear. Everything about our weekend was perfect!

Abigail was super responsive and made for an easy and relaxing stay! Fireplaces were very enjoyable in the cold and the sun room has lots of bright light. Guests should note that there is only onsite parking for 2 cars with additional parking in an overflow lot about a 7min walk away. Super easy access to big boulder ski resort.

Wonderful house, great winter ski setup, great space for multiple families!

Everything was great, from check in to check out. The location was perfect, as it was walking distance to Big Boulder. The house was exactly as described, and had everything supplied, down to the hand soap. Avigail was also very responsive for any questions. I would highly recommend this property.

Had one of the best ski trips ever, Avi’s home had everything you would possibly need from a feel-at-home environment, game room, cozy bedrooms and much more. Avi is an incredible host she provided helpful information that made my stay even better from recommendations of restaurants and activities around the area. Would definitely book again 10/10!!

Place was really cute and I enjoyed the stay

We loved the location which is highly accessible to visit the area. The house is great, and the hosts did their best to solve any issue we had, very responsive and effective. The only downside is that although there are multiple beds which enable higher house occupants, there is no privacy for most of the beds. This is not visible in the photos. One room with 2 queen beds door is inside another room which has 2 beds as well and all these people are in the basement with one bathroom. If the group is not too big, or with many kids this house is a good fit for an excellent vacation.

We stayed here for a girls weekend and every thing was great! Avi was very responsive and helpful from the time we booked through the end of our stay. The house was clean and just as described. Would definitely recommend this place and will hopefully be coming back!

No complaints, would definitely visit again! (Be careful with leaving garbage outside during your stay, the squirrels will have a field day!)

We loved our stay at Avigail's Poconos house! It was just as advertised -- large, beautiful, clean, and very close to lots of local restaurants, just a short walk away from the lake and ski area. Avigail was very responsive and proactive and organized. The trip was wonderful and we would absolutely stay here again.

Plenty of room, we loved the place

Stayed for 2 nights for a quick girls golf trip. We had a great time. The home was spacious and comfortable for our group of 7. We didn’t have much time for the game room but it looked like there were plenty of fun activities inside the house if we had more time. The house was close to restaurants and golf courses. The host was very responsive to an email we sent upon arrival. The neighborhood was very quiet. We enjoyed our brief stay! Thanks!

Good location for a group to spend the weekend. Centrally located in the area and easy to get to many area attractions. Good option for Pocono track weekends

Beautiful house- very clean and lots of room! The nearby lake is great for kids as it has a quiet beach and nice swimming pool. The hostess is very responsible. She almost always answers any questions within a few minutes. Overall a 5+ star rating!

Avi & Alex were GREAT! They were super responsive and proactive in their communication. But the star of the show was the PLACE ITSELF! Beautiful, so scenic, minimal bugs (didn't have a problem with mosquitos or anything), loved the BBQ, the game room – everything was perfect. Just note that during the summer, you will be expected to pay a bit more (we paid $125 for a group of 12 people) to use the local lakehouse, beach area! Overall, great place!

The house was clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed for a stay with multiple families with young kids. We appreciated the toys! Avigail was communicative and responsive when we had questions. It would have been nice to have a clearer explanation of how the beach access worked - including that we needed to pay extra for passes to it, but once we got there it was great!
